How to use features of Lapture App

In Lapture App, Browsing Account Holders can connect to businesses to keep up to date with deals, discounts and events, interact with the Lapture community and comment reviews of products or services. Business Account Holders will have their own feed on Lapture App where they can showcase their latest posts to new and existing customers. Once a Browsing Account Holder has connected with a Business Account Holder on Lapture App, the Browsing Account Holder will automatically receive the latest posts from businesses within their feed. The Business Account Holder is now able to direct message this new connection.

This support document will provide more information on the following features of Lapture App:

Lapture Feed

Lapture Feed keeps the Browsing Account Holder up to date with their favourite brands, deals, discounts and events. Browsing Account Holders can connect with businesses’ Lapture profiles and interact with their posts, both with likes and comments. Browsing Account Holders can interact with the community and comment on posts from Business Account Holders. Browsing Account Holders can also “capture” posts. Capturing a post will save it to your Assets, like a bookmark.

Direct Messaging

Once a Browsing Account Holder has connected with a business, the business will be able to send a direct message to the Browsing Account Holder. Browsing Account Holders can also direct message Business Account Holders for example, requesting more information about a product, to process a return or to access tracking information.

If a Browsing Account Holder unconnects from a business, then the Business Account Holder will no longer be able to contact the Browsing Account Holder as a customer through direct messaging.

Hashtags

Browsing Account Holders can click on hashtags to stumble upon new brands and to find out about events happening in their local area. As a Business Account Holder , we recommend using hashtags as it helps Browsing Account Holders, who may be interested in your products or services find you, the business.

Carts and Saved Items

In Lapture App, Browsing Account Holders can add items to their cart from all brands that use Lapture Systems. Browsing Account Holders can create a cart for each business they wish to purchase items from. Browsing Account Holders can also save items they like, to purchase or checkout within the next few hours.

Tickets

Tickets can be discounts or an access ticket to an event a business is holding. Browsing Account Holders can save tickets from different brands to Lapture App and use them at their discretion. Tickets can be used online when checking out or in store. Tickets can be used multiple times and can have an expiry date; this depends on the configurations the Business Account Holder has set.

Enabling Editor Privileges

Editor Privileges can be enabled for the Business Account Holder’s employees, so that a business can be managed within Lapture App. In order for employees to manage a business they must have a Browsing Account with Editor Privileges enabled. The employee can view business statistics, upload new posts to the business’ profile on Lapture App, view new orders to be fulfilled and saved tickets.

When Editor Privileges are enabled, an employee or delivery driver can also process orders on behalf of the business and mark them as picked or delivered, which will notify the customer of the status of their order.

QR Scanner

The QR Scanner in Lapture App can be used for:

  1. Viewing a business
  2. Processing returns orders
  3. Updating an order as delivered
  4. Updating an order as fulfilled
